Seeing What God Sees
O man, I beseech you do not treat God’s promises as if they were curiosities for a museum; but use them as every day sources of comfort. Trust the Lord whenever your time of need comes on.
God’s word of promise is meant to be tried and proven. He loves to be employed by us. Covenant blessings aren’t meant to be looked at only, but appropriated. We don’t make use of Christ as we ought to. -C. H. Spurgeon
How much time do we spend spinning in our mind, when just as quickly, we could look up, look in, and find Him there with the answers to everything we need. How often do we forget the promises, those exceedingly great and precious promises from the Lord, that we’ve fought for over the years? (2 Peter 1:4)
Promises like:
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Psalm 143:8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 33:21
In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the LORD ; trust in him and he will do this.
Psalm 56:3
When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
Psalm 52:8
But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever
Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
“Go to the deeps of God’s promise,
And claim whatsoever ye will;
The. blessing of God will not fail thee,
His Word He will surely fulfill.”

When you find yourself flagging in your faith, go over these promises again and again, item by item…that will shoot adrenaline into your souls. Hebrews 12: 3b MSG

Kels, I love all the scriptures you've given here. Sometimes people just write what their thinking but their words cause me to loose interest. The Scriptures you use really help explain your point. Good work!
