About CCK

What to Expect

Pre-Service Prayer

Jesus said in Matthew 21:13, “My house will be called a house of prayer…” When you go to an Italian Restaurant, you should expect Italian food. When you go to the house of the Lord, you should expect prayer.

Christ Church Kirkland is a house of prayer. Believing in the power of prayer, we set aside a brief time before each service to pray for God’s will to be done in the lives of those attending. We invite you to either join in with us or to simply allow the atmosphere of prayer to prepare your heart for the presence of God.

Celebratory Worship

Jesus said in John 8:36, “So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” As you experience our worship today, you will witness a note of freedom and celebration. We are a people whose lives have been radically transformed by the person of Jesus Christ. This progressive transformation has resulted in the freedom of singing, dancing and raising of hands.

As you worship with us, we invite you to relax and enter in. The nature of freedom is not having to do something, but being free to do what Jesus has defined as desirable.

Relevant Preaching

“For the Word of God is living and active…it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) You will experience a spiritual challenge as you listen to the message today. This challenge is not intended to condemn you, but to challenge you to evaluate the present condition of your life in light of the Word of God.
